Crewe Hall ♥ Louisa and Ryan

A busy wedding this with lots of people, lots of travelling and a couple of celebrities thrown in for good measure.

Louisa and Ryan both got ready for their big day at Crewe Hall in Cheshire, a magnificent building set in stunning grounds just on the outskirts of Crewe town. The ceremony was taking place at St Bertoline's Church in the nearby village of Barthomley and whilst most of the guests were transported by minibus, Louisa naturally had a much more elegant mode of transport befitting the beautiful bride, in the form of a lovely cream Beauford car.

Once the ceremony was over, it was back to the magnificence of Crewe Hall for drinks, photographs and the wedding breakfast.

What of the celebrities I mentioned earlier you ask? The mother and father of one of the ushers are the well known actors Jessie Birdsall and Gwyneth Strong (aka "Cassandra" in "Only Fools and Horses").. photo below.

Crewe Hall ♥ Lindsay and Simon

On the Cheshire Staffordshire borders, Crewe Hall is a fantastic venue for your wedding. Can you imagine living there and having your guests arrive up that long long approach road (bit of a beggar if you run out of milk though!).

Lindsay and Simon's wedding was simply wonderful. The ceremony was at beautiful Keele Church and then we travelled on the Crewe Hall. It was a breezy day to say the least but at least the sun shone for us. Crewe Hall is fabulous for photographs as it has both glorious grounds and intricate and grand interiors.

Sleep is for wimps

Yawn...

It's 1:30 in the morning and here I am still up and at the computer, trying to complete the editing of the photographs from the two weddings we photographed last weekend (4th and 5th July 2009).

Two lovely couples and two brilliant venues (Crewe Hall and Peckforton Castle) adds up to a HUGE number of photographs to go through and prepare.

Oh well, time to get back to Photoshop.. maybe I'll sleep tomorrow. In the meanwhile, a couple of photos from the wedding at Crewe Hall. When they return from their honeymoon, the happy couple themselves will receive in excess of 450 photographs from their wedding on the 4th July 2009 but if you go to Crewe Hall Wedding Photography you can see a much more manageable sample of 27 photographs from the wedding.
